China Surrounds Taiwan in Preparation for a Huge Invasion

Over the weekend, the Chinese military deployed soldiers all around the island of Taiwan in a series of large-scale military maneuvers

While Taiwan is governed as a sovereign nation, China perceives the island to be part of its territory, and Chinese leaders have advocated “restoration” with the island on several occasions, even by military force.. Taiwan has been self-governing for decades and is adamant about maintaining its sovereignty. According to a top US intelligence officer, China plans to construct a force capable of capturing Taiwan by 2030.

China claimed it was determined to “attempting to resolve the Taiwan matter in the new generation” shortly after Russia attacked Ukraine, colloquially referring to China’s aspirations to take control of the island republic.
